Why do you require a card for the free trial?+
Link shorteners are a common target for spam abuse and without a card gate, bad actors create throwaway accounts to shorten spam links at scale. The card requirement is purely to protect platform quality for genuine users. You won't be charged a single cent until day 8, and you can cancel any time from your account settings.
Which plan is right for me — Starter or Pro?+
Start with Starter if you have 5 or fewer domains and don't need unlimited pixel integrations. Choose Pro if you manage multiple brands or client accounts, need unlimited pixel configurations, or if hitting a 10,000 visit/month tracking cap would be a problem. When in doubt, start on Starter. Upgrading takes seconds.
What happens to my links if I cancel?+
Your short links remain active for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to update any links in live campaigns. After 30 days, links created under your account will stop redirecting. We recommend exporting your link data before cancelling. You can do this from your account dashboard.
How do retargeting pixels on links actually work?+
When someone clicks one of your LinkSqueeze short links, they pass through a redirect page that fires your configured pixel (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Google) before landing on the destination. This adds the clicker to your pixel audience just like a website visit would. The practical effect: you can retarget anyone who clicked a link in your email, bio, or ad, even if they never reached your actual website.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?+
Yes. You can switch from monthly to annual at any time from your billing settings and the annual discount applies immediately on your next payment. Switching from annual back to monthly takes effect at your next renewal date.
Is there a limit on how many links I can shorten?+
No. Both Starter and Pro include unlimited short link creation, unlimited QR codes, and unlimited redirects. The only tracking limit is on the Starter plan, which tracks up to 10,000 visits per month. Pro tracks unlimited visits.
